Welcome to Northern Lights Hydro Corporation
We are a Canadian Engineering Company specializing in power and industrial systems. In addition to providing traditional hydro unit startup monitoring and performance testing, our Hydro Power Division is deeply engaged in Research and Development pertaining to the emerging Kinetic Hydro Power Technology. Our Industrial Services Division provides mechanical and industrial engineering, maintenance, and operations support services. These services range from vibration analysis and condition monitoring to system troubleshooting, data collection, and modeling, with further specializations in the areas of Industrial Energy Consvervation and Demand Side Management, and piping system hydraulic analysis. Our President is Asmundur Asmundsson, P.Eng; a mechanical engineer who spent ten years working for Canadian Power Generating Utilities as a member of a multidisciplinary engineering troubleshooting team. Stefan Asmundsson has a diploma in Computer Engineering Technology and provides all of our datalogging and computer systems support. Daniel Bergman is our crane, boat, and heavy equipment operator.
